Doorvest has raised over $20m in equity and $75m in debt and is backed by top-tier venture capitalists like Mucker Capital, M13 and founders and executives from Wealthfront, Opendoor, BiggerPockets and Invitation Homes. We've focused on scrappiness and operational discipline well before it became trendy. In this market - it's served us well and now we're looking to accelerate.

Since 2020, Doorvest helped customers purchase and manage over 500 doors.  Leveraging a centralized team, we’ve achieved best-in-class performance metrics - including a <3% delinquency rate, ticket resolution times of <24 Hours, and a Customer Satisfaction score of 95% over the last quarter. 

We believe the rollup strategy will provide immediate, medium-term and long-term value to the combined business for three reasons:

• Immediate EBITDA accretion: we are targeting established businesses with proven EBITDA and cash flows
• EBITDA expansion: we’ll reduce complexity and overhead through centralizing systems & operations as well as AI-enabling backend work
• LTV expansion: our differentiated advantage is our transactional business of home sales and mortgage brokerage.  By acquiring new homeowners through our rollup strategy, we’re acquiring an audience of real estate investors that are prime to purchase new investment properties and obtain financing (or refinancing) when timing is right

Acquisition Targets

We’re targeting businesses with 100 - 1000 doors under management, $200k+ EBITDA and a strong local presence in expansion markets.  Given our lucrative transactional business, we can set our sights on companies outside of the sweet spot of large PM rollups like HomeRiver Group, PURE, Evernest, etc.

Doorvest Founding Story

In 2014, Andrew and Justin were both working in tech while starting to explore options for long-term financial security. They turned to real estate — particularly single-family rental homes — a proven way to generate passive income and build long-term wealth. Working together, they passively built a portfolio of over a dozen homes in under 5 years.

Recognizing the challenges of getting started in real estate, Andrew and Justin wanted to lower the barrier to entry for first-time investors. Motivated to improve the overall experience, they created a full-service real estate investing platform to help others make their way towards financial independence. Doorvest was born.
